SMART, FLEXIBLE SAFETY DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT
Digital (PDF) versions of all safety documents are archived a in a central repository within the Safety Indicators platform. In addition to the helpful Search function, a categorized list of safety documents can be filtered so any User can quickly find what they need, at any time.
That master list can include the document name, a description, a reference number, a version number, and other relevant information. This easily configurable system allows a company to organize their database to suit the safety information requirements and protocols of their industry or firm.
NOTHING GETS MISSED OR OVERLOOKED
No matter how many items are required to be kept on hand in your safety document management system, none will ever be mis-filed, mistaken for another, or fall through the cracks again. What used to be complex is now simple.
Note that this Module is for safety documents other than official MSDSs associated with specific products. Archiving and accessing those can be achieved with a separate Safety Data Sheets Module.
EHS DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT THAT ADAPTS TO YOUR NEEDS+
ASSIGN ‘ROLES’ FOR ACCESS
Everyone in a predefined User Role will receive, and/or have access to, just the safety documents they require. Not having to search through a long list of unrelated safety docs helps busy workers and supervisors stay efficient.
Those documents can be accessed on any digital device, at any of your firm’s worksites, even for temporary or on-the-spot job reassignments. New workers will automatically receive items relevant to the Role you’ve assigned to them.
ALWAYS UP-TO-DATE
Revision control is automated, so when documents are revised or superseded, only the latest version is made available to Users. For major updates, alerts about new or revised safety information – or the documents themselves – can be pro-actively distributed within the Safety Indicators platform to the appropriate personnel.
A versioning history for each document, with relevant approvals, is always saved and available to safety managers for reference.
STAY COMPLIANT
In case of an incident with a subsequent investigation, you can quickly show that the company was in compliance in providing required, and up-to-date, safety information.
A less comprehensive system also puts companies at risk for non-compliance during an outside audit. Of course, it also risks the possibility of serious employee injury due to unavailable or obsolete safety documents.
